Tawa Junior Hockey Club caters for children Years 3-8 

in Tawa and the greater Porirua area.  

Our home turf is Elsdon, Porirua.

Registrations are closed for 2025. 

Please contact us if you wish to play and we can see if there is any space in that year group. 

Games are played on a Saturday morning: 

Mini Sticks (Years 3 & 4): 10:00 AM (Elsdon)

Kiwi Sticks (Years 5 & 6): 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM (Kapiti-based games at 9:45 AM)

Kwik Sticks (Years 7 & 8): Predominantly 11:00 AM, with the earliest start at 10:00 AM (Kapiti-based games at 10:45 AM)

Years 5-8 will play approximately half their games at the home turf of Elsdon, Porirua and the remaining games will be played at turfs around the greater Wellington region (Kapiti, Newtown, Fraser Park in Lower Hutt).
